Welcome to the website of Marylebone Rifle & Pistol Club.Promoting the shooting sports in the heart of the City of London.

A Club with an International reputation.

MRPC left St Alphage House on 31st March, 2008 after 40 years, due to the proposed redevelopment of the site and are at present, active as a Club based at Bisley only.

We will continue to hold regular meetings twice, and occasionally three times a month at Bisley during the year (see dates on the competitions page).

This does not mean the end of MRPC in the City of London !

We are in negotiation with the City of London Corporation who have been extremely helpful in trying to find us premises for a new range within the city and are currently looking at a site in the London Bridge area. If all goes according to plan, we hope to be up and running as soon as humanly possible.

This will be a completely new development with modern range facilities for both section 1 firearms and also airguns as well as secure storage and a comfortable clubroom. We also intend to continue with our Heritage (section 7.3 ) activities.

The intention is that this new range complex will enable MRPC to move forward into our second century and will hopefully go as smoothly as it did when we moved from our original home in Harewood Avenue, Marylebone, to St Alphage House in 1968 .

I would like to thank all our members, both past and present who have supported us over the years and helped to make MRPC the success it has undoubtedly been. I would also like to thank the committee and members of the Stock Exchange Rifle Club who have shared St Alphage House with us and who also share the trials and tribulations of trying to find new premises.

We’ll be back!

We applied for range dates for 2012 some months ago and have still not had all of them confirmed. The ones in orange in the table on the competitions page are unconfirmed.

God knows what would have happened if they'd tried to organise shooting for the Olympics!
